Military Operations – Sabotage Detail (SOP pg 60) |
|
Situation |
Twelve volcanoes in the past 18 hours have erupted. Each eruption was precisely timed one hour apart, and progressed from Iceland eastward in each time zone in series. Homeworld Security, led by General Hammond, has studied countless satellite photographs and imagery to determine that each volcano was “detonated” via an unknown device. Satellite imagery at twelve other volcano sites indicates more devices will be detonated. Reasons for planting such detonation devices are unknown, however further eruptions will cause planetary devastation. |
|
Mission |
Suspicious activity was witnessed at twelve new volcano sites. Sabotage and disable the detonation devices. Due to the timeline of this mission, the Prometheus will be utilized to transport SG teams to each of the twelve volcanoes. Twelve SG teams will be utilized to sabotage the efforts of the volcano terrorist group. Once the threat is neutralized, proceed with intelligence gathering to determine who is responsible for the terrorist activities. |
